Entry Requirements for Non-Asian Foreigners

The following conditions are required for entry to the Asian Championships.

● You must have lived in Asia for at least one year.

Unlike in the past, the quota for foreigners to participate has been expanded this year. In other words, anyone who has lived in an Asian country of residence for at least one year is now eligible to participate. For example, to participate in the championships in Spain, it means that you can now compete if you have lived in Spain for at least one year and have a certificate of residence for at least one year.

The quota for “Asia” as defined by BsAs is as follows

Asia : Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Taiwan (Republic of China), North Korea, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Egypt, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Turkey, Singapore, Syria, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, East Timor, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen Oceania : Australia, Fiji, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Micronesia, Nauru, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu

*Foreigners who are not from Asia will need documents showing that they have lived in this Asian country for at least one year (e.g., certificate of eligibility) and their passport. We will be sure to check them at the registration desk on the day of the event.
